- I don’t have self-confidence.
Actually, you can find tons of reasons to hate your life. Even a small and simple problem can be your cause of dislike.
2. Influential factors that build up our mindset
Now if you look at the above-mentioned causes, what did you find? Have you noticed something?
Mainly 3 things influence our life and thoughts. We are shaped by these three influential factors.
Of course, the family is the first place where our mental growth builds. The family members play an important role in our life whether we will be positive-minded or negative-minded. Most of our positive and negative attitude comes from family. If there is anyone in the family who lives an unhealthy life, can grow negative energy to our mind.
They say, ‘a man is known by his companion’. If you have a good friend, you are lucky. Oppositely, only one bad friend can destroy your whole life. So choosing the right friend is one of the toughest jobs in our life. Good friends can help you in your hard time. Most of the ‘not-to-do’ things we do in our lives are taught by our friends.
III) Place and surroundings:
Sometimes the neighbors and area where we grew up also play a great job to build up our mental health. If the area is dirty, unhealthy, it creates negative thoughts. Or if the neighbors are not good, our mental state will also below.
3. Look at your reasons and ask yourself
‘Know thyself’ is the hardest thing to do in our life. Finding the purpose of doing something in life can make life easier. Most of the time, we don’t realize it. That’s why, when we fail in something or expectations don’t come true, we feel lost and broken.
Before turning your ‘I hate my life’ thought into ‘I love my life’ thought, you have to ask three simple questions to yourself. If you think carefully and find the proper answer wisely, it will help you to understand the real meaning of life and the actual purpose of life.
I) Are you living your own life?
You might be thinking, what kind of question is this? Of course, you are living your own life. One minute….
Let me make it clear. Answer me, did you do all the things like education, job, marriage, business, etc. because you cordially wished for them?
No doubt, all the things we do in our life are not the real picture of our minds. That means we are not living our own life. Instead, often subconsciously, we are carrying out someone else’s idea of the proper living method based on society or family expectations.
So to live your own life, it is mandatory to keep yourself from society or family expectations. You have to separate your real point of view from negative influences from your past, from people around you and from the society at large.
What do you want? – ask yourself first. Something is trending now doesn’t mean that you should follow. If you have no interest in that field, you will not love it and will not achieve success.
Your choices should come from your own value. And how you want to live your life should be decided by your own choices.
II) Check your inner critic
The inner critic is how you look at things. In simple words, it is an emotional view of your mind.
This is completely inner side. Normally there are two types of emotions; positive and negative thoughts control our mind. Some people don’t take anything negative for first time whereas some take negatively.
For example, when you come to your room and you are all alone there. Now you can hear the voice of your duplicate one is talking to you. That is an inner critic voice.
The inner critic voice is very powerful. It can change your whole life. The more negative inner critic voice control you, the more you will feel unhappy and hate your life. But the positive inner critic is good for you. As much as you gain positive energy, it will bring more brightness to your life.
Now it’s time to check your condition.
Positivity or negativity? Which one influence you most?
If you have more negativity, you should try to avoid that. On the other hand, if you have more positivity, try to increase it as much as possible.
III) How much hardiness do you have?
All we know, life is not a bed of roses. The path of life is rough and tough. Every step you move you have to think carefully.
In hard times, you have to take action very wisely to control the situation. If you are literally weak in mind and you have no strictness, you can’t control the situation.
Hardiness helps you to make believe that you can control the situation and still there are some possibilities to overcome the circumstances. The more you have hardiness, the more you can neglect the unexpected situations.
Now measure your hardiness. Only you know, how much hardiness you have. If you are soft-hearted, don’t use it everywhere. Because bad people will cheat you. One more important note to be remembered that you should learn the technique of using hardness and softness.
